Trapeze Bar & Basement Club
Set over 3 levels and bathed in faded circus glamour we aim to excite and delight! Trapeze is East London’s unique Circus themed venue situated in the creative area of Shoreditch and it’s the place to experience something a little different…
Our inspiration comes from one of the UK’s oldest Circus schools which is based very close to us in Hoxton Square – National Centre for Circus Arts. This school has trained over 50,000 performers across the world since it opened in the arts of Trapeze, Tightrope walking, Unicycle, Rope, Silks, Globe Walking, Juggling and much more! We hope to create a circus show of our own within Trapeze with our mixture of food, drink, music and entertainment and give people something interesting and unique to see and talk about in Shoreditch and in London.
The Main Bar’s glamorous vintage Circus décor and prime location make us a serious contender for East London’s most exciting new venue space, while our unique cocktails and creative menu are sure to delight your guests. The capacity is 300 and the area also has it’s own cloakroom and toilet facilities.
Overlooking the main bar and dancefloor area, The Mezzanine is a great space for a private event but still allows you to be part of the action. It has a capacity of 75 and its own private bar plus a plasma screen TV.
With a capacity of 200, its own private entrance, toilet and cloakroom facilities, the Basement Club can act as a large standalone space. It is very much a blank canvas making it very flexible for theming and both food and drink parties with entertainment. The live music setup and legendary club sound system has already played host to world class artists such as Maxi Jazz, Joey Negro, Sancho Panza and Victor Simonelli and is consistently programming events that keep it on the underground dance scene and party radar.
