Smith & Wollensky has been serving up what is without doubt the finest steak in America since it first opened its doors in New York in 1977.

Smith & Wollensky launched its first London site in the historic Grade II-listed Adelphi Building just off the Strand and offers a selection of signature USDA prime dry-aged steaks and premium seafood, alongside award-winning wines and classic cocktails.

Whatever the occasion, from signing contracts over a working lunch or raising a toast at a family celebration, our three smart rooms provide the perfect backdrop to private dining.

Choose The Theodore Roosevelt Room for exclusive use of a private bar and a dedicated barman or for more intimate gatherings reserve the Liberty or Churchill dining rooms. Alternatively, book one or two floors of the restaurant for private hire.
