Set among 400 years of maritime history, The Dockyard Chatham provides an amazing backdrop for any event.

Complete with spectacular, breath-taking architecture, this venue offers an historic setting but with modern facilities. Different and unique venue hire spaces are available to hire for all events. The flexible spaces can be transformed for all occasions, ranging from large gala dinners and award ceremonies, conferences and exhibitions, to intimate private dining and bespoke product launches.

The Commissioner’s House is the oldest intact naval building in Great Britain and was built in 1704. It’s range of function rooms will add a touch of grandeur to any corporate lunch whilst the Mess Deck offers a more modern setting for dinners and receptions. For something more intimate, you can impress your guests by inviting them onboard a Victorian Sloop and enjoy private dining in the Captain’s Cabin.

By hosting an event at the Dockyard you are also helping towards the preservation of the 80-acre historic estate for the benefit of visitors now and in the future.
